Description

Play as Evan or Evelyn, a young adult who is leaving their home island in search of adventure. You take a small ship into the Ruinous Rombus, a stretch of ocean known for many disappearances over the years.
As you stray closer to the centre of the ocean, a large storm brews and your ship is destroyed. Eventually, you wash up on Inoka Island, where your adventure begins.

Gameplay

Phantom’s Curse is a 2D side-scroller game with light platforming elements. You can defeat enemies to collect new items and weapons, explore the island, interact with NPCs, and enjoy fun animations, even when you lose.

Features

• Bestiary and Animated H-Scenes!
  Enjoy a variety of enemies and animations associated with them! You can click on the Bestiary icon in the inventory to view lore and stats about enemies you’ve encountered. In addition to this, sleeping takes you to the Dreamscape, a place where you can view all the animations you have already experienced, for your convenience and pleasure.
• Choose Your Sex (and Your Enemies’ Too!)
  In the settings, you can choose to change your sex, as well as the sex of the enemies you face. Depending on your preference, unique animations will occur tailored to your choices. Just make sure to save first!
• Struggling
  Your character has HP and a Curse bar. Enemies will often attempt to grab you. When that happens, you have to button mash to escape, otherwise your HP will start to drop and your Curse bar will start to fill up. When your HP is reduced to zero, the enemies might try to eat you. If your Curse bar fills all the way up, you’ll transform into that monster yourself!
• Controls
  WASD to move, SPACE to jump, TAB to open inventory, controls are nice and easy! Click items to equip and unequip them, and interact with various things in the world by pressing W.
